Design Concept: Astitva symbolizes the seamless integration of ancestral roots with contemporary aspirations—where space becomes a poetic extension of identity.
Astitva” means existence—this home is a physical manifestation of the client’s deep-rooted heritage blended with aspirational, modern living.
It stands as an emblem of architectural identity—where cultural roots are not only respected, but reimagined. Designed and executed by Shakyawar Design Studio, the home evokes a profound sense of permanence and pride.
Layered with artisanal textures—from exposed brick and textured stone to terracotta tile and classical columns—the structure flows with a poetic balance of restraint and grandeur. At its core is a deep sensitivity to spatial ritual, material tactility, and the emotional resonance of ‘home.’
The bold facade—featuring terracotta-tiled roofs, arched niches, classical colonnades, and textured stone cladding—creates a layered visual experience. The play of light and shadow across these textured surfaces adds rhythm and warmth, anchoring the home in both aesthetic grace and emotional resonance.
The layout is organized for fluid functionality, while the architectural expression is imbued with a timeless character—evoking the idea of legacy living, where design is not just seen, but deeply felt.
Large balconies, double-height volumes, ornamental ironwork, and lush landscaping all converge to deliver a sanctuary that balances privacy, grandeur, and openness.
This project is more than a residence; it’s a generational landmark.
Crafted for a family of stature. Delivered with design integrity.

- Philosophy: It reflects an architectural philosophy where form follows feeling—timeless yet unafraid to make bold visual statements
- Key Highlights:
- The Grand Veranda
A reimagined aangan, this transitional space connects the home to its landscape. Framed by classical columns and softened by natural textures, it invites both contemplation and conversation.
- Material Layering with Purpose
Exposed terracotta brick, black slate stone, and sand-toned plaster create a rich tactile palette—offering both contrast and cohesion while grounding the home in regional sensibility. - Crafted Metalwork & Custom Detailing: From the ornate gates to balcony railings, bespoke ironwork adds an artisanal layer of ornamentation—rooted in heritage yet executed with modern precision.
- Arches & Colonnades, Reimagined: Classical elements like arched niches and columns are reinterpreted with minimalist restraint, adding depth without visual noise.
